Day and Night

In the summer, there’s nothing like  an easy outfit that can take you from work to play, all with the addition (or subtraction) of  a blazer. I love how simple this outfit is and yet it is put together and bright.

I ended up scooping this tank from a beach store (surprisingly!) when on a cottage trip with a friend and I still wear it all the time, especially at work! The empire waist and the just-thick-enough straps make it comfortable to wear, conservative in the best way and yet stylish.  I picked this blazer up subconsciously (i.e. it was a great surprise to me when they met in my closet) to match the tiny polka dots in this top. And these pants, well, if you haven’t guessed it from yesterday’s post are my solution to summer dressing – white jeans. Simple, classic and (now) the perfect cut. Check out my DIY to convert your old pants.

Blazer H&M* {old} | Tank Lush**{old} |
Jeans DIY Alteration | Heels Nine West {old, loving these – on sale!}

Confession – even though I’m not ready to switch into fall mode, I’m absolutely loving the H&M* fall
collection and all of Lush’s** past season lookbooks.  Gorgeous!
