With game day upon us what better appetizer to serve your company than this easy 5 layer Nacho Dip.  This recipe has been a family favourite of ours for years and it’s so versatile that you can easily make substitutions or additions to cater it to your crowd or personal fancy. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
1 brick of cream cheese
1/2 c. sour cream
1/2 of one green pepper, diced small
1/2 of one red pepper, diced small
2 stalks of green onion, sliced thin
1 1/2 c. of grated old cheddar cheese (or similar)
1/2 c. of your prefered salsa
pie dish

Directions:
1) Leave cream cheese out to soften. 2) Blend cream cheese and sour cream together (chunks are ok). 3) Spread cream cheese-sour cream mixture across the base of the pie plate. 4) Spread salsa over cheese layer. 5) Spread red and green peppers over previous layer. 6) Sprinkle cheddar cheese over the pepper layer followed by green onion to garnish. 7) Wrap and leave in the fridge to set for at least 30 min. (Overnight works as well). 8) Serve with your favourite corn chips/tortilla chips.
