Week before last W and I had the pleasure of attending the Indigo Spring & Summer 2014 Preview at their Toronto location. To no surprise, each display was beautifully styled and decorated. This spring you can look forward to many delicate pastel coloured, chic accessories to get you out of your dark winter style rut. I love the range in hues and the subtle polka dot and striped accents.
In lieu of mother’s day, Indigo’s has all of your pretty gift giving needs covered. I’m a big fan of all of the sweet treats Indigo’s has to offer, including the polka dot wrapped Belgian Chocolate Drentched Oreo Cookies by Williams Bennett (pictured below). Yum!
I also love how Heather (Indigo’s leading lady) has considered those of us who aren’t particularly one for pinks in a second collection of pieces that I immediately gravitated towards. The tres chic black and cream combo is one that won’t disappear anytime soon. Is it terrible that I already want everything on this table? (pictured below).
If you’ve been taking tabs on my personal home style, you’d know that I was ready to take this scene back with me on the spot. I can’t get enough of the simple black and white palette with the layers of patterned texture. This was, indeed, my happy place.
Am I incorrect in thinking that a trip to the South of France wouldn’t make for the perfect summertime getaway? Well, in addition to not being able to afford it, there’s no immediate need now. Indigo’s will be introducing a collection inspired by a mediterranean summer in the South of France. Coupled with deep blues and hand painted accents, Indigo’s has a stunning collection of home accents that will easily transform our backyard deck space into one of a more Parisian tone.
I love how these deep blue tones will also be carried into Indigo’s stationary and accessory line as well.
Here’s hoping that spring makes its way to us sooner than later!
Yesterday’s snow has me walking around with my fingers and toes crossed.
Happy Friday junior all – we’re almost there!
