This weekend

For this week’s edition of “This weekend” links I bring you – my current favourites: a list of some of my favourite sites, boards, articles and more.  Do we share a fav? Also, if you’ve got a few ideas to add – be sure to include it in the comment section and make this a conversation.

Here are your weekend links:

This article on the “Art of Shopping: How to Turn Pro” had me nodding my head in total agreement. Great tips and awesome strategies. I especially the reference to shopping as a sport these days.  Hunting down the perfect item, at the perfect price seems even more challenging now a days with so many options out there and reverting back to the age-old homage of trying things on for the right, best fit.

Absolutely space crushing on this Parisian apartment.  Can I move in please?

And speaking of Parisian chic – how on pointe are these outfits created by Les Dessous Chics? I love how simple, yet cool each look is.

That being said, this cottage just rocks. I love the casual styling and overall esthetic. I wonder if they’re looking for company…

I came across this article with stylist Jessica de Ruiter and I just wanted to share how awesome I love her super casz look and how outrageously sunny these shots are.

This week has been crazy busy over here with W and I finishing up our “extra-work curriculars” and we’ve somehow been losing time twofold. The result, many weak spirited dinners and lunches. I’m going to try out some of these tips on how to get (a rockin’) dinner on the table in 20 minutes ideas from Dinner, A Love Story.

With spring (very slowly) approaching (so long as I haven’t just jinxed it) I’m hoping to sew up a more tops following based on my of my absolute favourite sewing DIY-ers: Cotton and Curls, Liz’s pattern for this top.

Lastly, if you’re in the GTA you need to hit up (my favourite show) the One of A Kind Show this weekend! There are so many awesome artisans attending this year with great products for purchase. Get your ticket here and show your support local shops/designers all while scoring some truly “one of a kind” (couldn’t help myself) things for you and your place.  Buy tickets online here.

Here’s hoping you have an awesome weekend filled with all of your favourites.
I know for me that also includes brunching, yoga, cozy reading nooks and perhaps a douse of DIY-ing and online browsing.  Can’t wait!

Have a great one all!
