Sometimes I find that short work weeks are the longest – you too? This weekend is jammed packed with seeing friends, checking of the good olde “to do” list and attempting to catch up at home base a bit. If I had to label it, I’d say that I had a momentary bout of exhaustion that completely devoured my Wednesday, making me realize – I’m trying to do too much! Now, I’m no doctor but I’m certain that’s an -itious of sorts right? 😉 Solution – this weekend I’m planning on stocking up on things that will help take some of the thinking out of the everydayness – stock up the fridge with some grab and go lunches and snacks, pick out a new outfit combos that are washed and ready to wear (damn laundry gets me everytime), etc. I’ve been working ahead on some sewing, styling and sounding spaces posts that I’m looking forward to sharing with you next week too. Phew!! TGIF.

Super pumped to shop this collection for bright and festive summer entertaining.
For some reason we always seem to end up with a plethora of cucumbers from our garden in the summer. I can’t wait to transform them into this tasty appetizer – yum!
I really enjoyed reading this post yesterday. There’s something about May that is always a bit chaotic and overwhelming between work and all the rest. A great reminder to keep things real.
I don’t think my style to be overly preppy but this outfit has totally caught my eye and has made it to my spring favourites list. Perfect for work, going out, the works. It’s also made my DIY inspiration list – can you guess which item my sewing machine is eyeing?
My colour this spring has been swaying towards more white-blush-beige tones complemented by bright hues. I love this combination of inspirational colour pairings.
I’m excited to share that I’m in the process of sewing up a tote based on this Madewell bag.
How awesome is this outfit above? I’m loving the contradicting heavy heels with the soft silk dress and messy hair. Talk about an easy weekend uniform.
And lastly, this article made me smile ear to ear. Perhaps it’s because I couldn’t agree more. You as well?
Happy Weekend All!
Thanks for reading.
