Whoop! It’s the weekend!!! After a very, super, crazy, busy two weeks I am SO excited to truly be able to let loose and relax a bit. Is it just me or is it finally starting to feel like the summer might just be around the corner?
Here are your weekend links: Enjoy!
I cannot wait to spend all weekend downtown at my hometown’s Sound of Music festival. If you’re in the Greater Toronto Area I would definitely recommend coming down. I don’t think I’ve missed one yet.
I cannot wait to dive into some DIY projects now that my load at work is easing up. On the top of my list: this DIY gold-leaf jewelry tray idea (also caters to my “must organize mess” urge) and this dish DIY idea. My nightstand/jewelry will definitely appreciate these!
This closet! The actual closet… need I say more.
He he he – this post made me giggle.
The perfect summer knit dress is a must. DIY tutorial on the blog soon (!) but in the mean time let’s just take a moment to gush over the perfect simplicity to the one in the pic above from Bon George (made in the US). Ahh… I can hear the summer calling already.
Yum! I can’t wait to try out this recipe on the grill this weekend. I classic spin on a seemingly daunting entree.
What’s your take on this summer trend? Would you sport it to work?
I am in love with this fresh, modern interior space.
And some Father’s Day DIY ideas:
My dad just got back from another work trip and I couldn’t think of a better (or more perfectly timed) gift then this super easy, yummy DIY Father’s Day gift (with printable tags!) Might have to make a *cough* tester batch too 😉
That being said, this DIY BBQ rub recipe is another great F.D. gift idea.
I love this DIY custom etched glass idea. Easy to personalize for any sized glass. Just pair with dad’s favourite refreshment.
Lastly, I’m planning on whipping up one of my DIY felt cellphone/sunglass cases to pass along to my pop’s too. Can’t go wrong with this great gift.
Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
Here’s hoping you enjoy a wonderful weekend all.
